Forms

The Wearable Sculptures project explores the connection between the wardrobes and sculptures of Modernist artists Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore, examining how fashion and art intersect to convey concepts of space, texture, and emotion. Through research in archives and online sources, the project highlights how their mid-20th-century attire reflects their personal styles and social positions within the art world.

The Missing Camera

This project explores the climbers‘ world. Inspired by a documentary photo of two climbers, I researched into the stories of climbers who have attempted to reach the summit of Mount Everest over the years. Mountain climbing is full of fun but also challenges. This project focuses on the physical and moral challenges climbers face while climbing the mountain: What if you hurt yourself? What if your companions hurt? Do you have to rescue your Companions if they get hurt, even though you might get trouble?

Individuality

Inspired by the invisible hidden parts of tuxedo shirts under tuxedo suits, this project explores the idea of visibility and invisibility. In the early twentieth centuries, the tuxedo shirt was perceived as a jacket for formal occasions, in which all men were wearing the same evening coat as conformity. However, this project focuses on the individuality hidden behind the tuxedo. The unseen part of the tuxedo shirt will be explored as a way to personalize each individual.

Forms

Inspired by the flowing, organic forms of Barbara Hepworth's sculptures, The Form is a tribute to the intersection of art and craftsmanship. The bag embodies the sculptural elegance of smooth, curvaceous lines, expertly crafted from premium leather. Its minimalist design speaks to the purity of form, while holes and contours add depth and movement, much like Hepworth’s iconic works.

With a timeless appeal, this piece is both functional and artistic, designed for those who appreciate the beauty in simplicity and the art of handmade craftsmanship. The unique shape is both modern and classic, perfect for carrying your essentials while making an artistic statement.
